Leesah wears many hats which include Artist, Photographer, Author, Poet, Entrepreneur, and the Creator of CARING CARDINALS®.

After the sudden loss of a close friend in early 2012, Leesah created a pencil portrait for his family and their mutual friends. The illustration resembled a black and white photograph of her friend, and was sadly, too painful for his elderly parents to display.

Leesah felt their pain and was silently determined to create a special way for comforting the bereaved. A few months later, Leesah was looking outside through a window when a red cardinal landed in her Cherry Blossom tree. Tears streamed down Leesah’s face, as this very moment provided her with an extraordinary vision.

Over the next 10 years, Leesah brought her vision to life which has evolved significantly into a truly meaningful bereavement brand for adults and children.
